Pizza Toast

Pizza toast is one of my favorite recipes that I have been making for years. I figured since it’s a viral thing now, I would reshare. I mean Hailey Bieber’s looks good but I think mine is better.

My mom has made this recipe for years and years and years. It has been adapted over time but it is one of the easiest and best things you will ever make. Another bonus, it is a healthy pizza recipe because for too large slices of pizza toast it is only 375 calories, whereas one single slice of pizza is usually around 300 calories!

This pizza toast recipe is simple, easy, and delicious! It is basically just like making toast, I always use fresh rye bread from my local grocery store, but fresh french bread would be amazing too!

Ingredients for the pizza toast:

  • 2 slices of Fresh rye bread
  • ¼ cup Marinara Sauce
  • ¼ Mozzarella cheese (fresh or shredded, I like to use either or)
  • Garlic powder, oregano, hot & sweet pizza and pasta magic
  • 3-4 Cherry tomatoes sliced
  • Fresh basil (the fresh makes a difference!)

How to make pizza toast:

  1. Start by toasting your bread
  2. Top with marinara sauce, oregano, garlic powder, and Pizza Magic
  3. Sprinkle on your cheese, sliced tomatoes, and fresh basil
  4. Broil for 4-5 more minutes in the toaster oven
  5. Enjoy

How do you make Hailey Bieber’s pizza toast?

Hailey Bieber uses two slices of sourdough bread, she tops it with burrata, and sliced tomato and places it in the oven. Then she tops it with parmesan cheese, tomato sauce, spices, and places it back in the oven! I do have to admit it sounds amazing, but I think I will stick to my easy pizza toast recipe.
