These apple blondies have me shook. The consistency is unreal, I cannot even explain it. When you bake them your whole house is going to be filled with delicious apple smells you will be put in the best Fall mood.
I am so glad blondies have taken their throne, yes brownies are amazing, but I truly believe blondies are so underrated. Some of the flavors that you can pair with blondies are just not the same for a brownie, for example;
- Salted caramel blondies
- Chocolate chip cookie dough blondies
- Brown butter maple blondies
- Maple pecan blondies
- Golden Oreo blondies
- S’mores blondies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Swerve brown sugar
- 1 whole egg
- 1 stick Meyenberg goat milk butter
- 1 Granny Smith Apple chopped into ¼ inch cubes
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cup flour
How to make apple blondies:
- Begin by lining a 9×9 square pan with parchment paper
- Using a hand mixer beat the butter until creamy, add the egg, brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt and mix well
- Add flour, cinnamon, baking powder and mix by hand
- Fold in the apples, the batter will be sticky, this is fine
- Scrape into baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes
- Slice into 9 and enjoy!

What is the difference between a blondie and a brownie?
The names say it all, blondies are basically the vanilla version of a chocolate brownie. A blondie is made with brown sugar and vanilla extract, whereas a brownie is made with cocoa powder
Are blondies meant to be gooey in the middle?
A properly baked blondie should be very chewy and gooey in the middle so it is very important that you do not overcook them. The texture and consistency of these apple blondies is unreal!
Why are they called blondies?
Blondies are colored and sweetened with brown sugar, aka molasses, which gives them their golden color. Originally they were referred to as blondie brownies, now they are just known as blondies!
Is a blondie the opposite of a brownie?
Yes basically, the ingredients are not a direct swap, but instead of using cocoa powder in blondies, you use more brown sugar and vanilla extract. The textures are exactly the same but the flavor profiles are different, you can also get creative with different sorts of recipes. For example, you would likely not make Apple brownies, but instead Fudge Cheesecake brownies.
Does goat milk make goat butter?
Yes goat milk makes great butter, it is lovely to bake with, and awesome for cooking. It is similar but not exactly the same as butter from cows’ milk, interestingly enough it has a different melting point than regular butter.
What does goat milk butter taste like?
Goat milk butter is creamy and has a subtle tang to it that regular butter does not have, I love baking with it because it tastes great and is easy on the digestive system.
Why is goat milk easier to digest?
Goats milk has a higher content of unsaturated fat and smaller fat particles making it easier for our stomach enzymes to break down and digest.
