The funfetti cake batter dip was such a hit I wanted to make another favorite flavor into this delicious dip. The baseline ingredients are pretty similar with a few minor changes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 2 5.3oz caramel apple Light & Fit Greek yogurt
  • 1 tub lite Cool Whip, thawed
  • crushed Airly Chocolate Oat clouds, or chocolate Teddy Grahams
  • 2 tbsp caramel syrup

Instructions:

  1. If your cake mix needs to be heat treated start by doing that, add the contents from the box into a large microwaveable bowl, and microwave in 2-3, 30 second increments
  2. Add the cake mix, cool whip, and yogurt into a large mixing bowl and combine
  3. Once combined add into a serving dish, top with caramel syrup, and crushed chocolate crackers (note*- if you make the dip ahead of time the crackers will soften and taste even more like a chewy brownie)
  4. Dip with pretzels, graham crackers, cookies, or fruit and enjoy

Why you will love this recipe?

The top two reasons you will love this recipe is that it is easy to make and that it is delicious! The salty-sweet combination is heavenly, and you would never think that this indulgent-tasting dip is only 100 calories per serving!

Do you have to heat treat the raw cake mix?

To be safe you can heat treat the cake mix, a lot of mixes these days are safe to eat raw but double check the ingredients. If you want to heat treat the mix before making the salted caramel brownie dip then empty the contents from the box into a large bowl and microwave it for 2-3 30-second intervals, stirring in between.

How long does the cake mix take to make?

This is one of the easiest recipes I have and that’s saying a lot because I think they are all fairly easy. All you have to do is combine the ingredients, get your dipping treats, and enjoy!

What can you dip into the cake mix dip?

The best thing to dip in my opinion is pretzels because it really gives you the salty-sweet vibes even more! But other things I dip in are double chocolate chip cookies, graham crackers, fruit, and chocolate Airly crackers.

What if you don’t have Airly crackers?

I highly recommend trying these, they have salty and sweet options and they are easily one of my favorite snacks! You can order them online, but if you want to make this recipe “like today” chocolate Teddy Grahams will also work great!

Do you have to add the brownies? Can you just make a salted caramel dip?

If you do not have any chocolate crackers or chocolate Teddy Grahams you can omit this ingredient, but they do add a yummy chocolate flavor to this dip. Also, if you add them in prior to serving they will soften and taste just like a yummy chewy brownie.
