Filled with shredded chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, hearty broccoli and topped with tasty biscuits and cheese, this recipe is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. You will be thrilled to discover this recipe can be prepared in under 15 minutes and only requires 25 minutes of baking.

So what is the secret ingredient that makes this recipe so simple to make? Rotisserie chicken! Don’t believe any of those haters that tell you not to eat rotisserie chicken, sure it has a bit more sodium than your homemade shredded chicken, but it is perfect in a pinch, and when you need an easy recipe to make that is high in protein, it is the perfect ingredient.

The total list of ingredients for chicken Alfredo bubble-up bake:
    • Rotisserie Chicken: I got the small rotisserie chicken from Walmart, and it was a perfect size. I had a small amount leftover but I ended up just tossing it out, I try to use as much of the breast/light meat as I can, and then I will use the dark meat as needed.
    • Steamed Broccoli: I used the steamable broccoli, you can find this in the freezer section of the grocery store. This is another reason this recipe is so quick and easy. If you wish to buy fresh broccoli you may chop it up and steam it. But, did you know frozen broccoli is flash-frozen? So it actually has more nutrients than fresh broccoli.
    • Alfredo Sauce: If you are able to find a light Alfredo sauce I would use that, I was not able to so I used what I had on hand. The Primal Kitchen Alfredo sauce is dairy-free and has only 60 calories per serving.
  • Fat-free Mozzarella: I love shredded mozzarella, I often use fat-free or skim, either one of these will work. The nutrition for this recipe includes information including the fat-free cheese.
  • 7.5 oz Canned Biscuits: You can find these at Walmart, this is the can of 5 biscuits. If you are unable to find these, just get the can of 8 biscuits and use the leftovers to make these pretzel bites or creamy chicken taco melts!
