Can you think of a better combination? A warm brownie AND a chocolate chip cookie, excuse me, I need to eat the whole pan.
I made these for my boyfriend’s birthday and everyone loved them, yay! Wanna know the secret? One sec, run to the store really quick and grab a box of brownies and a package of chocolate chip cookie dough. Ok are you back? Cool. That is ALL you need.
These brookies are SO easy. Sure you can use a homemade brownie recipe and homemade chocolate chip recipe but who has the time for that? Okay, we’re quarantined I guess we may have the time… but the quicker the baking the sooner we can eat!
So As I Said All You Need For The Brookies Are:
- A package of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1 box of brownie mix and the necessary ingredients
- Likely 2 eggs, water, canola/vegetable oil
A small list of ingredients followed by a small list of steps!
How To Make The Brookies:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish
- Combine the brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl
- Once the batter is all mixed, use a rubber spatula to add the batter into the greased dish
- Open the cookie dough package and break apart the cookie squares
- Flatten the cookie dough and place it on top of the brownies
- Bake for 25-30 minutes
- Let them cool and ENJOY!!
It doesn’t get easier than that. Sometimes the easiest recipes are the best.
