Brookies (Brownie Cookies)

Brookies (Brownie Cookies)

Brownie? Or a cookie? Can’t decide? Leave it to me I am the indecisive queen. So why not have both, a brownie cookie or a brookie!!

Can you think of a better combination? A warm brownie AND a chocolate chip cookie, excuse me, I need to eat the whole pan.

I made these for my boyfriend’s birthday and everyone loved them, yay! Wanna know the secret? One sec, run to the store really quick and grab a box of brownies and a package of chocolate chip cookie dough. Ok are you back? Cool. That is ALL you need.

These brookies are SO easy. Sure you can use a homemade brownie recipe and homemade chocolate chip recipe but who has the time for that? Okay, we’re quarantined I guess we may have the time… but the quicker the baking the sooner we can eat!

So As I Said All You Need For The Brookies Are:

A small list of ingredients followed by a small list of steps!

How To Make The Brookies:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease a 9×13 baking dish
  3. Combine the brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl
  4. Once the batter is all mixed, use a rubber spatula to add the batter into the greased dish
  5. Open the cookie dough package and break apart the cookie squares
  6. Flatten the cookie dough and place it on top of the brownies
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes
  8. Let them cool and ENJOY!!

It doesn’t get easier than that. Sometimes the easiest recipes are the best.
