Your new fave festive drink!! This sugar cookie matcha latte is everything you ever dreamed of right in a glass with ice.
I love matcha and if you don’t, you no longer have an excuse to judge matcha and pretend you don’t like it because I promise this drink will change your mind!
What’s even better? The matcha in this drink is from Great Lakes Wellness and it is made with collagen! Collagen is a great source of protein and promotes healthy hair, skin, nails, and joints, if you currently add it to your coffee switch it up and try this!! This Matcha Collagen is slightly sweetened and has 12 grams of protein per serving. An amazing latte with over 10 grams of protein?? I must be dreaming!

If you want to use regular milk instead of almond milk I recommend using skim milk, it foams super well!
Feel free to use almond or coconut whipped cream to make this entire recipe dairy free
Is this drink similar to the almond milk sugar cookie latte from Starbucks?
Yes, but I like this recipe more! The matcha adds a subtly sweet flavor and the almond extract is just what this drink needs to taste exactly like a sugar cookie! The foamy almond milk on the top finishes this perfect drink.
What does the sugar cookie latte taste like?
The sugar cookie almond milk latte is made with blonde espresso, almond milk, and sugar cookie syrup and topped with sprinkles it is very good. It is not entirely too sweet which is preferable in my opinion.
What does collagen matcha do?
Collagen and matcha provide many health benefits, and combined they are a powerhouse! Drinking collagen helps strengthen bones, joints, and hair while matcha is great for your metabolism.
What if I do not have the Great Lakes Wellness Matcha Collagen?
If you do not have it, lucky for you it is easily accessible on their website! You can purchase it here.
Can you add collagen to your coffee?
Yes, you can. A lot of people do this to easily get in some protein into their day, it is a great idea but if you are a matcha lover I highly recommend making the switch to this sugar cookie matcha latte!
Can you make this latte ahead of time?
You can but I do not recommend it. The foamy almond milk on top makes this drink superior and if you let it sit, the ice will melt and the milk foam will deflate.
