How do you make dairy-free pizza?

There are plenty of dairy-free cheeses out there which is the main reason that your typical pizza is not dairy-free. This easy pizza recipe uses Trader Joe’s almond shreds which only contain 1% lactose, if you cannot have any lactose at all I would search for a vegan cheese like Violife!

Is mozzarella OK for lactose intolerance?

It depends, mozzarella has a very small amount of lactose per serving so you may be okay with the small amount on a slice of cheese pizza, but this is something I would proceed with caution!
