Bow Ties and Peas

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8.5 oz can of small peas
  • 1 large 28 oz can of peeled whole tomatoes
  • 1 box of bow tie pasta
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions
 

  • Begin by dicing the onion and add to a sprayed pan and saute
  • When the onion is cooked add the entire can of tomatoes (liquid too)
  • Drain half of the liquid from the peas and add into the pan
  • Add in the parmesan cheese, garlic, basil, bay leaves, and parsley
  • Let simmer, cover, and on low for 30 minutes
  • While this is cooking, cook the bow ties in a separate bowl!
  • Combine and serve, this recipe makes 6!
