Cheesy Taco Pasta

Ever wanted a taco and pasta at the same time? Same.. no worries, here we have a delicious cheesy taco pasta that combines everything all in one!!

I am a sucker for a good taco but I also do love my pasta!! So rather than filling a tortilla shell, fill up a bowl with some cheesy taco pasta!

Why Taco Pasta?

Why the heck not!!

What Ingredients Do I Need?

Large Pasta Shells â€“ these are perfect for this dish because they catch the cheesy beef!!

Lean Ground Beef â€“ I used 93/7

Taco Seasoning â€“ I used Ortega taco seasoning

Mild Chunky Salsa â€“ yes this is a necessity in this dish!

Yellow onion – chopped and sautéed!

Shredded Mexican Cheese â€“ I used reduced fat finely shredded Mexican blend cheddar cheese

Garlic cloves â€“ I used Polaner crushed garlic, you can find this in the produce section of the grocery store

Oregano â€“ dried oregano that is!

Salt and pepper â€“ to taste;)

Red pepper flakes â€“ not too much heat but just a little

Worcestershire Sauce â€“ love this sauce!

Water â€“ this is added in towards the end

How Do I Make Cheesy Taco Pasta?

What Can I Have With The Cheesy Taco Pasta?

The cheesy taco pasta is perfect with some tortilla chips and light sour cream! I also of course had some veggies on the side.

How Do I Store It?

Store the cheesy taco pasta in a large bowl. I used a medium sized pyrex bowl and kept it in my refrigerator for the week.

Can I Reheat It?

Yes, absolutely. I reheated mine in a microwave safe bowl every night during the week for dinner. This cheesy taco pasta is the perfect meal prep to enjoy throughout the week. I microwaved mine for around 2 minutes!
